Affiliate disclosure
Last updated October 3, 2026
In short: Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the seller may pay us a commission. You don't pay more. Commissions don't decide what we recommend, and we'll tell you to keep ordering transfers when that's cheaper, even though it earns us nothing.
How we make money
Print Systems Lab is free to use. To pay for it, we join affiliate programs run by sellers of DTF printers, equipment and supplies, either directly or through affiliate networks. When you click one of these links and buy something, the seller may pay us a commission or referral fee.
You pay the same price whether or not you use our link. Some sellers offer readers a discount code through us. Where they do, we say so.
How you can tell
Every page carries a notice at the top saying that links may earn us a commission. Where a page links directly to a product or seller we have an affiliate relationship with, we also say so next to the link or at the start of the page, before you reach it.
What commissions don’t change
- We don’t accept payment for placements, rankings or reviews.
- Commission rates don’t decide which setups we recommend or in what order. We rate setups on support, parts availability, white-ink handling, warranty and running cost.
- When our numbers say ordering transfers is cheaper than owning a printer, we say so, even though that earns us nothing.
- If a seller gives us equipment, samples, a loan or any other benefit, we will say so clearly on any page that discusses that product.
Who this disclosure is for
We publish this disclosure to meet the US Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, and UK advertising rules (the CAP Code) on identifying marketing communications. Above all, you should know when we have a financial interest in something we link to.
