In short: We want everyone to be able to use this site and its calculator. If something gets in your way, tell us and we'll fix it or give you the information another way.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:
- every page and the calculator can be used with a keyboard, and focus is clearly visible;
- sliders, buttons and results are labelled for screen readers, and results are announced when they change;
- meaning is never shown by color alone, so ratings have a text label;
- text can be enlarged to 200% and the layout works on phones;
- diagrams have text descriptions.
Known limits
- Range sliders can be hard to set to an exact value with some assistive technology. Use the arrow keys to move one step at a time.
- Some small labels in monospaced type may be harder to read at default size; zooming helps.
Tell us about a problem
If you can’t use part of the site, email hello@printsystemslab.com with the page address and what happened. We will try to reply within five working days, and if it would help, we’ll work through the calculation with you by email.
